Anthony 'Tony' Cetinski is one of the most popular singers in Croatia, also well known in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro. His discografy includes 10 solo albums recorded since 1990. In 1994 Tony represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Nek' ti bude ljubav sva". |
When you cried last time and, if no secret, for what reason? Last time I wept was when my colleague and good friend died. Although, there is predominantly thought that crying isn't manly, my thought is that hiding tears isn't manly.
There are some events during our life, when it seems as there is no way out. That could be tragic circumstances or such assessment of them. At that time, what's the thing to do? Situations are only seen like hopeless. There is a saying that God never close the door before he opens a window. I let emotions do their job, and after that I try to rationalize situation, try to understand reasons why it happened and try to find steps for going on.
Could you please choose any event of last days, weeks or months, that has distressed you? It can be any happening on a local or international scale. How could you comment on it? Wars, hunger of some nations while others toss the food, restrictions of freedom, stupid moves of politicians which leads in wrong way and certainty that it is not possible to make better balance in World, distresses me on daily bases. On the other hand, people gave up of fighting or were imposed to new pace of life in which, if they want to survive, they don't have the time for general problems, and we massively give up.
There's always a new danger watching for humanity in its way, always a new temptation we're ready succumb to. What's the danger of our days? And what's the way to avoid this trap? We have entered the phase where we must pay the price for everything we've done to the nature, and it seems to me that there is no return. We should momentarily stop with the Earth devastations and fight for the rights of endangered, so future generations could live a better life.
What are the main obstructions to apply humanities principles at our today's life? Could they be solved? Humanities principles are forgotten by humans, and that is the main obstruction to apply them. Humans slowly cease to be humans and convert to machines. Emotional intelligence disappears with incredible speed. People have fallen in someone else's, imposed program. Someone calls it globalization, but to me it is only an excuse for making chaos.
