When you cried last time and, if no secret, for what reason? Honestly speaking, I don't even remember when I cried last time... Naturally, I feel like crying only in two cases: 1) When I was framed, hurt or insulted by someone I would never expect, or 2) When someone really close, dear and important to me passes away. I sincerely hope that these reasons will be extremely rare in my life.
There are some events during our life, when it seems as there is no way out. That could be tragic circumstances or such assessment of them. At that time, what's the thing to do? As life and experience teach us - there is always a way out. One just has to make peace with this and never panic. Paraphrasing a classic saying: every happy situation is more or less the same, but difficulties are very individual. And this is the main problem - there are no standard solutions. Fortunately, a human being is blessed with the unique gift of the ability to think! Exactly this gift will help deal with a tough situation and find a proper solution. I hope that this quality will never let any of you down. :) And, of course, the presence of people, ready to support and help any minute is very important.
Could you please choose any event of last days, weeks or months, that has distressed you? It can be any happening on a local or international scale. How could you comment on it? I always get very upset by events that fuel ethnic strife, especially attacks of terrorists. Recent events in the Moscow subway are a very tragic example of this. For me, it is bitter to know that, usually, these things are to the advantage of some groups of people or some organizations. It is just that I don't see any goal, even super highly important, that can justify human losses. Also, recently, I was impressed and even shocked a little bit by the story about the Icelandic volcano. This is just another small piece of evidence showing how helpless we are facing even a minor demonstration of our planet's character.
There's always a new danger watching for humanity in its way, always a new temptation we're ready succumb to. What's the danger of our days? And what's the way to avoid this trap? A person should realize and always remember that he or she is (or, rather, supposed to be) a being of utter morality. And, despite the fact that all of us are children of our Earth, we are NOT, and for some time already, wild children of Nature. We build our relationships, where it is necessary to be a human. What moves people who kill? What moves people who profit from another's tragedy? I think they perfectly understand that what they do is not good, not humane.
What are the main obstructions to apply humanities principles at our today's life? Could they be solved? I seriously doubt that something will change until human life will become the most valuable thing in the whole world, until human opinion will become a top priority for our society and ability to compromise with other people as well as with oneself - a life-style for everyone. It really sounds like utopia, but along with the ability to think, we have two more gifts - the abilities to hope and to dream. So, I'll keep on hoping and dreaming... :)
