When you cried last time and, if no secret, for what reason? The last time I cried I was realizing I was losing someone that I love and adore dearly... a breakup. It certainly felt like a funeral as I wiped away all my dreams of the future with that wonderful woman. We just realized we were holding each others wings, and neither of us were able to fly.
There are some events during our life, when it seems as there is no way out. That could be tragic circumstances or such assessment of them. At that time, what's the thing to do? I try to breathe deeply and remind myself of how unpredictable and uncertain this world is. I trust that if I'm experiencing it so are a million other people - it is part of life and I must except it and move gracefully and humbly through it.
Could you please choose any event of last days, weeks or months, that has distressed you? It can be any happening on a local or international scale. How could you comment on it? I hydroplaned on the interstate the other day losing control of my vehicle at 70 miles per hour. Luckily I didn't hit any other vehicles... I was reminded once again of the fragility of life and the importance of patience. Now the rental car company is trying to charge me for leaving the unsafe vehicle behind!! ha!
There's always a new danger watching for humanity in its way, always a new temptation we're ready succumb to. What's the danger of our days? And what's the way to avoid this trap? I feel, the danger is losing site of our animal-selves. We are losing touch with mother nature more and more - this leads me to a feeling of emptiness and lack of peace and purpose. We must return to the Earth in some way or risk living in our minds alone.
What are the main obstructions to apply humanities principles at our today's life? Could they be solved? Greed comes to mind and FEAR - perhaps they can be solved by stripping our conciousness to the core and letting go of our illusions about this life. Perhaps by letting other emotions guide us, like compassion and love - should be simple right? :)
