When you cried last time and, if no secret, for what reason? The last time I cried I was watching Animal Cops on Animal Planet. I love those shows. As hard as it is to see what terrible things happen to animals, it comforts me to know that Animal police divisions in Houston, Detroit, Florida and I am sure many other states are doing all they can to save animals and rehabilitate them so they can be placed in loving homes.
There are some events during our life, when it seems as there is no way out. That could be tragic circumstances or such assessment of them. At that time, what's the thing to do? I would say the thing that works for me most is to take Action. It's important not to get overwhelmed by emotion. I believe in action. To do something no matter how small it seems helps get us toward better outcomes or at least moving in a more positive direction.
Could you please choose any event of last days, weeks or months, that has distressed you? It can be any happening on a local or international scale. How could you comment on it? The sudden death of Michael Jackson was quite distressing for me. I never met him but he was something special. It saddened me to know that our own medical system which is supposed to "heal" us or that those in our medical system the "Doctors" were somehow persuaded by money or notoriety to enable Michael to get to the point where his body couldn't sustain itself anymore.
There's always a new danger watching for humanity in its way, always a new temptation we're ready succumb to. What's the danger of our days? And what's the way to avoid this trap? The danger of our days are the pharmaceutical companies and all of their print and TV advertising. They push drugs on us in such a subtle way but that's what they are "legal drug pushers". So many misinformed citizens rely on the information these companies put out as a means to "cure" or to "treat" any ailment. Everyone wants the quick fix whether in pill form, cream or spray etc. What happened to eating better, sleeping enough, and exercising as a means of prevention... I guess the pharmaceutical companies and Doctors alike don't make any money if everyone uses preventative methods and doesn't get sick.
What are the main obstructions to apply humanities principles at our today's life? Could they be solved? The fact that not all people believe that we are created equal is a main obstruction in our humanity. We are all HUMAN no matter what country we live in, what religious beliefs we follow, or what cultural background we come from yet, people still allow these to be the very things that keep us at war or divide us into one side or another. It happens even in our own country. The way Republicans and Democrats have divided our country is sad. Today, we don't live up to our name: The United States of America. Thankfully we have a wonderful leader who's goal is to get us to be just that: UNITED.
