When you cried last time and, if no secret, for what reason? Recently. My Best Man died.
There are some events during our life, when it seems as there is no way out. That could be tragic circumstances or such assessment of them. At that time, what's the thing to do? It's best to keep a cool head or, better yet, not do anything. Panic is not a good ally. As far as natural disasters and wars, there is no way for an individual to influence them.
Could you please choose any event of last days, weeks or months, that has distressed you? It can be any happening on a local or international scale. How could you comment on it? Every time we turn on the radio or TV, look at the newspapers or log onto the Internet, we are awash in a flood of bad news - it seems there is no room for the good ones. Buried under all the bad news, after a while we give up trying to deal with the problems of the world and turn to ourselves instead. Perhaps that process of burying has something to do with the politics.
There's always a new danger watching for humanity in its way, always a new temptation we're ready succumb to. What's the danger of our days? And what's the way to avoid this trap? Main dangers are: alienation of people, threats to family as the basic unit of society, distorted value systems, planetary polution, hunger and, in particular, manufacturing of new diseases and epidemics - various world "madnesses" and "influenzas".
What are the main obstructions to apply humanities principles at our today's life? Could they be solved? In my opinion, main obstructions are: greed that is taking over our planet, manufacturing of fake news, and distorted value systems. Strengthening of the family (which, in turn, strengthens the individual), as well as return to the "classic" value system might improve things somewhat.
